First Podium for Duo Mach1/Hanssen

mach1 v'hoven

The first race of the dutch championship in Veldhoven Joey Had his first race of the 5 races series.

Qualifying practice Joey Put p4 on the clocks. Not a bad thing considered he hasn’t been in the kart for 5 months. race 1 He had a pretty good start but the first corner he was on the outside ( While it was half dry half wet ) and got pushed wide. Dropped back to 10th and fought back to 4th. Race two was a little better in a way of speed and positioning on the track.

“I ve got my race pace back a lot more in race two. Race 1 was a bit rusty and Im fully confident that later in the season i will only get better. ” Joey got up to p2 an putting the fastest lap in the race. Putting pressure on Jordy van Moorsel he was not able to make the pass yet.

Race 3 it started to rain a little and starting on the outside of turn one was a big dis advantage I over shoot turn one and lost many places. but the race became interesting because I had to come from the back now. and managed to finish 4th in the final.

These results where enough for the 3rd place of the day. and P3 in the championship.
